I believe I, Daniel Blake was a success because of how it was produced and how although they started as an independent film they was able to make 5 times the box office revenue compared to for example black widow who failed to even double the amount of money that was even put into to begin with. On top of the income made, the influence it had on the working class and lower class of the unite kingdom made an impact on how they perceived the government as well as confirming many fears about the party that was in charge.
