2) Read the mark scheme for this assessment carefully. Write down the mark you achieved for each question: 

1) question 1 I got 8/12

4) Question 2 I got 2/2 marks

5) Question 3 I got 2/6 marks

6) Question 4 I got 5/8 marks.


3. Identify one of your stronger questions. Why did you do better on this question? Use the mark scheme to help you with this.

My strongest question was question 4 as I got a solid mark. Ontop of this , I used a good amount of media terminology throughout.

4) Identify one of your weaker questions. Why did you score lower on this particular question? Use the mark scheme to help you with this.

One of my weaker questions was question 3 as I used little to no media terminology and did not attempt to use prrior knowledge towards the question.


5) Finally, write a new, detailed paragraph for Question 3 - the unseen text 12 mark question. Use the mark scheme to identify anticipated content you can add to your response and make sure you refer to the text and write in detail. 

In the heat cover featuring beyonce, she is seen wearing a red dress which symbolises power as it is a very eye-catching colour. The title of the advertisment is called heat which suggests her perfume brand is intensifying and this is seen as a more justifiable reason for the consumer to buy the perfume as it becomes a justifiable spend for them to spend their money on. Beyonce has a strong media prescence and people portray her as a power figure therefore buying her perfume may help them feel as if they have some of her confidence figuartively, her strong posture with her standing fierce shows this more. The perfume company also uses a strong subtitle 'best fragrance' by beyonce, they purposely included it being by beyonce as her internet persona is so popular to the point it means all she needs to do is drop a statement for people to buy which boosts this companies internet popularity. Beyonce speaks on having alter egos or popularity e.g. 'sasha fierce' and the company succesfully implemented this into their perfume campaign using her to show that even if your shy your inner 'fierceness' always can come out.
